Waccamaw River at Brookgreen Gardens

Just beyond the trees lie the old rice fields worked by slaves for four large plantations in South Carolina: The Oaks, Brookgreen, Springfield, and Laurel Hill.

Now it is part of the beautiful Brookgreen Gardens horitultural and sculpture garden:
